Fall Adventure!

Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati was known for his love for hiking and the mountains around Turin almost as much as his love for his neighbors and the poor.

Conveniently, we have our own most excellent set of mountains just outside our doorstep! Let’s explore them!

Plan for the day:

• Before 7:00am – Park at “The Ridge” (also home of Rochester Hobby Lobby and Starbucks) and consolidate into fewer cars for the day.
• 7:00am – Leave “The Ridge”
• 8:30am – Mass at Our Lady of the Mountains (North Conway)
• Breakfast at Peach’s Restaurant (North Conway) (café with gluten-free as well as gluten-full options)
• Drive up the world-famous Kancamagus Highway
• Hook onto Franconia Notch Highway
• Stop at Profile Lake/Old Man in the Mountain Profile Plaza
• Hike Echo Lake or Bridesmaid Falls (Echo lake closes after a certain number of people arrive, so it will depend on capacity)
• Drive home down 93, stopping at Twin Tamarak for dinner if people are hungry
